You brief us on the deal, we come back with an indicative structure within days, and then we take it to the lenders most likely to fund it and stay with you through to completion. Most acquisitions take six to twelve weeks from engagement to drawdown.
The five steps
- Brief us (day 1). The target, the deal value, the money you're putting in and your sector experience, on a 30-minute call or through the form on our acquisition finance page. There's no credit check at this stage.
- Indicative structure (3 to 5 days). We come back with a capital stack and two or three lender routes, so you see the shape before you commit. This is when you sign our engagement letter and pay the retainer, and our advisory work begins.
- Lender introductions (weeks 2 to 3). We pre-qualify and package the case, and route it to the credit teams most likely to fund it.
- Heads of terms (weeks 3 to 6). Indicative offers arrive in writing, and we help you compare them on rate, term, security and covenants.
- Underwriting and drawdown (weeks 6 to 12). The lender's due diligence and legal completion, then funds are released to the seller. We stay in the room throughout.
