Section 01
About this policy
bizbritain ("we", "us") is committed
to protecting and respecting your privacy. We take the privacy of all
of our site users seriously and take great care to protect your
personal information.
Please read the following policy carefully to understand what personal
information we may collect from you, how we may use it, and your
rights in respect of our use. By using the bizbritain website, you
accept the terms of this cookie policy.
This policy should be read alongside our
Privacy policy, which explains
how we handle personal data more broadly.
Section 02
Information we may collect from you
We do not require that visitors reveal any personal information in
order to access our website; however we may collect and process the
following personal information under certain circumstances:
-
Information that you provide by completing forms on the website.
This includes information provided at the time of registering. We
may, for example, keep a record of your name, address, email
address and telephone number.
-
If you contact us by email we may keep a record of that
correspondence.
-
We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research
purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
-
We may collect details of your visits to our site including, but
not limited to, the resources that you access.
How we will use your information
We may use information held about you in the following ways:
-
To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most
effective manner for you and your computer.
-
To send you emails, newsletters or provide you with information
that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where
you have consented to be contacted for such purposes. If at any
time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving emails, we
include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each
email.
-
For our internal purposes, such as research and analysis,
reporting, quality control, website performance, system
administration and to evaluate use of our website, so that we can
provide you with enhanced services.
- To notify you about changes to our service.
Section 03
The cookies we use
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We separate ours into
two groups. Essential cookies are always on, because the site cannot
work safely without them. All other cookies are set only if you accept
them on our cookie banner.
We may also collect your IP address, operating system and browser type
for system administration and security. This is statistical data about
how visitors browse, and does not identify any individual.
Cookie
Session cookie (essential)
Keeps you connected as you move between pages and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Deleted when your session ends.
Cookie
cookie_consent (essential)
Remembers the choice you make on our cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every visit. Kept for 1 year.
Cookie
Cloudflare Turnstile (essential)
Our forms use Cloudflare's Turnstile spam check, which may set its own cookie while verifying you are not a bot. Security only.
Cookie
bb_attribution (only if you accept)
Records how you first arrived (for example a search ad or a referral link), so we know which marketing brought you here if you later enquire. First-party, kept for 30 days. If you decline, we keep this information only for your current visit instead.
Cookie
_bizbritain_lead_source (partner links)
Set only when you arrive through a referral partner's link, so we can credit the partner if you enquire. Kept for 30 days.
Cookie
Google Analytics (_ga and similar — only if you accept)
Helps us understand how the site is used, via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. Kept for up to 2 years. If you decline, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals.
Cookie
Meta Pixel (_fbp — only if you accept)
Measures whether our Facebook and Instagram presence brings visitors. Loaded only after you accept. Kept for 90 days.
Section 04
Analytics, advertising & consent
We use Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics 4, which tells us
which pages are useful, how visitors find us, and where the site can
improve. We use Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure whether our
advertising works.
None of these set cookies until you accept them. We use Google's
Consent Mode: until you accept, Google tools receive only cookieless,
aggregated signals that cannot identify you, and the Meta Pixel does
not load at all. If you accept, these tools work normally and their
cookies are set as described in the previous section.
You can read more about how these companies handle data in the
Google privacy policy
and the
Meta privacy policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time using the
Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page.
Withdrawing removes our attribution cookie straight away and stops
analytics and advertising cookies being set from that point on.
Section 05
Managing cookies in your browser
The simplest way to manage the cookies we control is the
Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page.
It reopens the cookie banner so you can change your choice at any
time, in one click, free of charge.
Cookies are used throughout our website and disabling them may prevent
you from using certain parts of the site. If you want to disable
cookies, follow the instructions below for your browser:

always be available on our website.
