bizbritain helps entrepreneurs across the UK start, grow, and buy businesses. As our team grows, we are always interested in hearing from commercially minded people who care about customer outcomes, practical advice, and responsible finance.
We do not list every opportunity publicly, but we are happy to hear from strong candidates. If you would like to introduce yourself, please send your CV and a short note to hello@bizbritain.com.
How we work
Start Up Loans, growth finance and acquisition finance. That’s the whole list. You’ll learn it in depth, from people who have done it for over a decade.
Plain English is the job
Every client, form and phone call is written for someone hearing the language of commercial credit for the first time. If you can explain a covenant to your nan, you’ll fit in.
We sit on the client’s side
No lender commission on advisory work. That changes how we talk to people: we recommend what fits the business, not what pays us more.
Done properly, first time
Same-working-day replies to client enquiries, and applications prepared once, carefully. We would rather spend an extra hour on a case than send it back to a client twice.
Where you could fit
Finance experience helps, but it isn’t essential. Curiosity, care and clear writing matter more. These are the four areas the team works across.
First conversations, eligibility, and walking clients through every step from enquiry to cleared funds.
Building the application pack: business plans, cash-flow forecasts, statements, and lender queries.
Guides, help articles and campaigns that explain finance in plain English to first-time applicants.
FCA conduct, data protection, partner reporting, and the systems that keep the firm running.
No roles advertised right now Strong candidates can still introduce themselves below.
How to introduce yourself
We keep hiring the way we keep finance: simple, personal, and explained up front.
Send your CV and a short note
Email hello@bizbritain.com. Tell us which area interests you and why. A few honest lines beat a long cover letter.
We read every one
Someone on the team reads every note. If there’s a fit now or coming up, we’ll be in touch to arrange a call.
Meet the team
A conversation with the people you’d work with, in Canary Wharf or by video. No trick questions, no assessment centres.
Where we are
Our clients are all over the UK, from high-street cafés in Cardiff to engineering firms in Leeds. The team works from Canary Wharf and on the phone with all of them.
